Canvas Church contacted Tried and True Tint with a unique problem: parents wanted to check in on their children during services, but frequent peeking caused stress and distraction for the kids. The solution? A custom one-way film installation to create visual privacy from the inside while preserving visibility from the outside.
🎯 The Challenge: Too Many Peeking Parents, Too Many Distracted Kids
Parents looking through the glass into the children’s area caused unintentional emotional disruptions—children would cry, lose focus, or want to leave when they saw their parents through the windows. The church staff needed a discreet, effective solution to protect the children’s focus while still honoring parents’ desire for visibility.

We proposed a one-way solar control film, which functions like a mirror on the children’s side while keeping the view clear for parents outside the room.
Additionally, we installed frosted window film on glass doors inside the nursing mom’s room, allowing natural light in while giving mothers full privacy.
